FINE-ART PRINTS

Travel & underwater prints

Reefs, wrecks, temples and coastlines, printed to order on pearl or metallic paper that gives water and gold a bit of depth.

01
THE WORK

Frames worth bringing home

I photograph because I’m travelling, not the other way round. These are the frames that made a trip worth it: a turtle that drifted over a wreck at exactly the wrong depth, a rainbow that lasted ninety seconds over a valley in Hawaiʻi, a temple lit gold for about four minutes.

Every image below can be printed. If you’ve seen something elsewhere on this site that isn’t here, just ask.

UNDERWATER

Below the surface

Shot on scuba across the Philippines, the Florida Keys, Mexico’s cenotes, Hawaiʻi and the Great Barrier Reef.

03
TRAVEL

Above the surface

London, Prague, Thailand, Japan, the Philippines, Mexico, Hawaiʻi and the American West.

ORDERING

How to get one on your wall

There’s no checkout here on purpose. Prints are made to order and sizing depends on your wall, so it starts with a message.

Pick an image

Note the caption of the one you want — or describe it. “The turtle over the wreck” is plenty to go on.

Choose a size & finish

Tell me the wall and I'll recommend a size, then we settle on pearl, metallic or matte.

I handle the rest

Printing, checking and packing, then it ships to you.

THE DETAILS

Paper, finish and the boring bits

Most of what I’ve sold so far has been printed on photo paper with a pearl or metallic finish. Both have a slight reflective quality that suits this work particularly well — water, wet sand, gold leaf and coral all pick up a depth that a flat matte finish tends to flatten out. If you’d rather have matte, say so and we’ll do matte.

Sizes depend on the photograph. Tell me the wall and I’ll tell you honestly how big that particular file will go before it starts to suffer.

My logo is printed onto the image itself. I don’t sign prints by hand and I don’t number them. I’m in the middle of moving to a printer that ships direct to you rather than routing everything through me.

QUESTIONS

Print questions

Because the right size for your wall isn’t something a dropdown menu can work out. A two-message conversation gets you a better print than a checkout does.

It depends on the size and the finish. Tell me which image and roughly how big, and you’ll have a price the same day or the next.

Almost certainly. Anything in the portfolio is fair game, and there’s a lot more in the archive.

Ask and I’ll find out for you. I’m changing how printing and shipping are handled at the moment.

No. Everything is open edition, unsigned and unnumbered. You’re buying the photograph, not a collectible.

A few local shops have carried prints, and the rest have gone to people who saw a photograph somewhere and asked for one.
